ALBUM ART
Doing album artwork has just been a natural consequence of my interests. I love graphic design, and each completed album gives me a chance to flex my muscles and refine my craft.
ADRIFT IN THE DEEP
Adrift in the Deep went through many names and covers before the final version was finally settled upon. The origina; "Scamper" design was quite simple, but each successive revision became more ornate as it went on, resulting in the final "Erika Variant" of the Adrift album cover.
VIVID EDGE
I had a very clear idea going into Vivid Edge. This was a concept album, but not necessarily a dark or serious one. I have always loved comics and manga, and i wanted to incorperate that into the design of the album. So, I dug into my chest of comics, picked out some of my favorites, and made designs based on them. This resulted in a few different versions. But I think the final is far and away my favorite. By the end it still remains the largest Photoshop project file I have!
