
Route is a game jam project made in 2 days. Pilot a small spacecraft as you race against increasingly insurmountable odds in this survival racer!

3 GUYS AND A PUN
Route was made to participate in the winter global game jam. This was a project made concurrently with our primary senior project: Breakneck, and so the main goal was to experiment with ideas we hadn't gotten the chance to due to time constraints on our main project.
What resulted was an experiment in making an endless runner. Your ship starts out slow, but as you race along this mobius strip track, you'll pass through gates which make you go faster. As time progresses enemies begin to appear around the track which impede your progress, or worse, destroy your ship. The longer you survive, the more intense it gets!
The project was headed by Ayden Occeas, James Costello, and myself. Ayden was our programmer and designer of the gamemode. I designed the track, helped model the level, and was our assembler, while James led much of the art, leading the modelling & trailer.
